It’s been a labour of love to restore our campervan to its finest and I’m sure you’ll agree the results are more than worthwhile.
Restoration has taken three years to complete. Most parts have been replaced and resourced while other parts that couldn’t be bought had to be re-chromed or stripped back and rebuilt again.
The suspension and steering rack have been upgraded with after market versions, making it drive and feel like a normal car. Having been insulated with Dynamatt – a noise cancelling insulation – there is very little cabin noise throughout.
A one off custom made interior, designed and fitted by craftsman Richard Booth (www.richardboothdesign.com) finished in Esspresso Pear veneer, complimented by Jasmine White seats upholstered by Ken’s kustoms (www.kenskustoms.co.uk)
The engine has been stripped and rebuilt by Paul at the Beetle and Bus Depot
